FC Porto are the European club with most titles in the 21st century

This Sunday’s confirmed national title isn’t just the 25th title in the history of the Dragons. It's also the 21st trophy conquered in the 21st century, a unique record across Europe. With seven national championships, five Portuguese Cups, six Super Cups, one Champions League, one UEFA Cup and one Intercontinental Cup, FC Porto are the European club with the most titles in the 21st century.

This analysis refers to the official competitions of the top 30 countries as per the UEFA ranking. In second place are the Germans from Bayern Munich (six championships, five Cups, two League Cups, one Super Cup, one Champions League and one Intercontinental Cup) and Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb (six championships, six Cups and four Super Cups), both with 16 titles.

Next on the list are Olympique Lyon (French) and Manchester United (England) with 15 each, in addition to Rangers (Scotland), Olympiakos (Greece) and Inter (Italy) with 14 titles. Nevertheless, this season there are still more trophies within reach: The 21st century could still become even more blue-and-white.
